



For our one year wedding anniversary, my wife and I scratched the travel itch and drove to San Francisco for the week. We drove overnight (about 12 hours) and stayed in Fisherman’s Warf. It was an excellent trip! Talk about a photogenic city! (more…)



For those unawares, letterboxing is the art of hiding a small box (usually tupperware) with a stamp and notepad inside somewhere along a hiking trail or outdoorsy location. One follows clues and uses a variety of navigational means to find said boxes to leave a message and make their mark, and to stamp their own notepad or book noting the find. A simple hobby, to be sure, but often responsible for fun little adventures. (more…)




Whew. These last couple of months have been riddled with firsts! Everything from family portraits to fashion. I’ve been having a blast building experience in all things photography. This last weekend saw my first maternity shoot, which I feel went quite well! (more…)

As far as beach days go in the Pacific Northwest, this is just about perfect. This was taken on the last day of razor clam season, on Pacific Beach just south of Moclips, Wa. A portion of the small town of Pacific Beach can be seen to the far right. Hordes of clammers can be seen in the distance to either side of the picture. The family in the middle is my own. We were enjoying a nice, relaxing stroll on the beach having already been quite successful in our own quest for clams. (more…)
